Terms of use

Last updated: 23 August 2026

Important: nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability, remedies, guarantees, or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. The strongest lawful limitation—not an absolute exclusion—applies.

1. Operator and acceptance

Digital Value Team is operated by De Hunter Holding BV, Netherlands, registration number 24493568 and VAT number 8223.64.980.B.01. These terms apply to the Digital Value Team website and Digital Value Team applications, including InkQuote. By using them, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use them. App-store terms and Apple’s or Google’s standard end-user terms may also apply.

2. Product purpose and boundaries

InkQuote is a calculation and drafting aid for tattoo estimates. It does not provide tattooing, healthcare, medical advice, legal advice, tax or accounting advice, booking, payment collection, invoicing, identity verification, or financial services. It does not guarantee that a quote is accurate, complete, legally sufficient, commercially appropriate, accepted by a customer, or suitable for any particular purpose.

You are solely responsible for checking all inputs, calculations, taxes, currency, deposits, prices, splits, documents, recipients, and legal or contractual requirements before relying on, saving, sending, or using an output.

3. Licence and acceptable use

Subject to these terms and the relevant app-store rules, Digital Value Team grants you a limited, personal or internal-business, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the product for its intended purpose. You may not misuse, disrupt, unlawfully copy, resell, reverse engineer except where law expressly permits, bypass purchase controls, introduce malicious code, or use the product to infringe another person’s rights.

4. Purchases and refunds

InkQuote Premium is offered as a one-time, non-consumable in-app purchase. The app store shows the binding local price, taxes, currency, payment terms, refund process, and availability. Apple or Google—not this website—processes the transaction. Statutory rights and the relevant store’s refund rules continue to apply.

5. User content and backups

You retain responsibility for content entered into or produced with an app. Do not enter unlawful content or information you are not authorised to use. InkQuote is local-first and does not provide cloud backup or synchronisation. You are responsible for retaining any records you need. Uninstalling, resetting, losing, or replacing a device may remove local data.

6. Availability and changes

We may maintain, modify, suspend, or discontinue features or availability where reasonably necessary. Updates may be required for security, compatibility, legal, or store-policy reasons. We do not promise uninterrupted, error-free, permanent, or universally available operation.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the website and products are provided “as is” and “as available.” We disclaim implied warranties, conditions, and representations, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, non-infringement, and uninterrupted availability. This clause does not reduce any mandatory statutory guarantee or remedy.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Digital Value Team is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential loss; loss of profit, revenue, business, opportunity, goodwill, data, or anticipated savings; business interruption; or loss arising from incorrect inputs, unchecked outputs, recipients, device loss, third-party services, store decisions, or use outside the stated product purpose.

For business users, Digital Value Team’s total aggregate liability arising from or relating to a product or these terms is limited to the greater of (a) the amount the business user paid for that product during the twelve months before the event giving rise to liability and (b) EUR 25.

The exclusions and cap do not apply to liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, wilful misconduct, liability for death or personal injury where exclusion is prohibited, or mandatory consumer remedies. If a limitation is unenforceable, it applies to the maximum lawful extent.

9. Business-user indemnity

If you use a product in a business capacity, you will indemnify Digital Value Team against third-party claims and reasonable costs caused by your unlawful content, your material breach of these terms, or your use of unchecked outputs in customer dealings, except to the extent the claim was caused by Digital Value Team’s own unlawful conduct.

10. Third-party services

App stores, operating systems, email applications, share services, hosting providers, and linked websites are controlled by third parties. Their terms and privacy notices apply. Digital Value Team is not responsible for their availability, content, processing, or decisions except where mandatory law provides otherwise.

11. Intellectual property

Digital Value Team and its licensors retain all rights in the website, applications, brand assets, text, software, and designs, excluding user content and third-party rights. No rights are granted except the limited licence above.

12. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by Dutch law. Courts in the Netherlands have jurisdiction, subject to mandatory rights that allow a consumer to rely on the law or courts of their country of residence. Use the contact form first so we can try to resolve a concern.

13. General

If any provision is invalid or unenforceable, it will be limited or removed only to the minimum extent necessary and the remainder will continue. Delay in enforcing a right is not a waiver. We may update these terms prospectively; the date above identifies the current version.
